Live Room Title Tips

Below you will see best practices when creating your Live Room Titles. Room titles are incredibly important and have a direct impact on how many people join your live streams.

Things to note:

  • Emojis Rule. On average, viewership is 19% higher for rooms which included emojis in the title.

  • Less is more. Pick one style for each live rather than trying to fit all offerings into one title.

  • Create Emotion and Urgency. Creating a feeling draws people in and creating urgency will have them join quickly.

Here are the three best performing Room Title Styles:

1. Giveaway Titles

Format: "[Emoji] Free Giveaway Alert! Win [Prize/Brand Name] Now - Join Us!"

Example: "🎁 Free Giveaway Alert! Win Nike Air Max Today - Join Us!"

Format: “Win Big! [Prize/ Product] Completely Free! Join to Enter [Emoji]

Example: “Win Big! Stone Island Badge Completely free! Join to Enter 🧭”

Format: “Don’t Miss Out! Free [Product/Brand] Giveaway! [Emoji]”

Example: “Don’t Miss Out! Free Messi 2008 Giveaway! ⚽️”

These formats capitalize on the high engagement rates of giveaways. It clearly communicates the value proposition ("Free Giveaway") and creates urgency ("Now"). Including a desirable brand or prize can further enhance the appeal.

2. No Reserve Auction Titles

Format: "£1 Auctions Live! Score [Item/Brand] for Less Than You Expect"

Example: "£1 Auctions Live! Score Adidas Sneakers for Less Than You Expect"

Format: “£1 NR On [Product/Brand] - Your Chance For A Steal! [Emoji]”

Example: “£1 NR On Reworked Jumpers - Your Chance For A Steal! 💰”

Format: “Bidding Hour! [Emoji] £1 No Reserve On [Product/Brand] - Own It For Less [Emoji]”

Example: “Bidding Hour! ⏰ £1 No Reserve On Jordans - Own It For Less 👟”

Format: “£1 Madness Begins Now! [Emoji] [Products/Brands]

Example: “£1 Madness Begins Now! ⏳ Carharrt, Ralph, And More! ❤️‍🔥”

This structure leverages the intrigue and excitement around no reserve auctions, suggesting the possibility of getting high-value items at low prices. It combines the allure of scoring a deal on popular brands with the urgency of a live stream.

3. Brand Highlight Titles

Format: "Exclusive Nike Drop! Limited Stock Available - Don't Miss Out 😊"

Format: "Adidas Flash Sale! ⏰ Unbeatable Prices for a Short Time Only "

Format: “All New Stock! Only Umbro, Champion, Ellesse For The Next Hour! 🔥”

Format: “Limited [Product/ Brand] Just Landed! Come Grab Yours! ❤️”

Some other important findings:

  1. Emotional Engagement: Titles that evoke an emotional response or create a sense of excitement and urgency perform well. Using words like "steals", "giveaway," and incorporating emojis can tap into users' emotions, prompting them to act.

  2. Brand Power: Highlighting well-known brands directly in the titles is a strong draw. This suggests that leveraging brand recognition and affinity is a powerful tactic in driving user engagement.

  3. Urgency and Exclusivity: Phrases that suggest limited-time offers or exclusive access can be particularly effective. Titles implying that users might miss out on something ("Last Chance!", "Exclusive Drop!") leverage the fear of missing out (FOMO) to encourage immediate action.

  4. Personalization and Direct Appeal: Titles that seem personalized or directly address the user ("Your Chance to Win!", "Specially Selected for You!") could potentially create a stronger connection and drive higher engagement. Personalization is a key trend in marketing effectiveness.

  5. Variety and Creativity: The diversity in titles suggests that trying different approaches and creatively combining elements (such as urgency, exclusivity, emotional engagement, and personalization) can be effective. Continuously testing and optimizing based on performance data is crucial.
