Community Guidelines

To ensure a safe and respectful environment for our community on Tilt, we've established the following guidelines for our members. Engaging in prohibited behaviours may result in actions against your account, including content removal, temporary suspension, or a permanent ban.

The following are examples of prohibited behaviours across different categories. Additional actions may also be considered violations, even if not explicitly listed here:

Unwanted Contact & Conduct

  • Using offensive or obscene language directed at individuals.

  • Persisting in communication after being asked to stop.

  • Sharing personal information without consent.

Sexual Harassment

  • Unsolicited romantic or sexual comments.

  • Requesting for an individual to model or display clothing inappropriately or provocatively.

  • Sharing or requesting explicit content, making lewd remarks, or objectifying individuals.

Personal Attacks

  • Comments that target someone's appearance, beliefs, or personal attributes.

  • Insulting an individual across multiple streams or messages.

  • Spending a significant time on stream commenting or questioning a seller's reliability.

  • Engaging in behaviour with the intention of "exposing" an individual.

Threats & Discrimination

  • Any form of discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics.

  • Slurs, epithets, or any language intended to incite hatred or violence against individuals or groups.

  • Supporting known hate groups or ideologies.

  • Expressing desires for an individual's death, illness, or physical injury.

  • Indirect or hypothetical threats of harm.

  • Praising, supporting, or approving of someone's past or present traumatic experiences, including self-harm, eating disorders, or other medical conditions.

  • Disclosing or threatening to reveal someone's sexual orientation or gender identity without their permission.

Spam and Disruption

  • Repetitive posting of messages, emojis, or irrelevant content that disrupts the flow of conversation.

  • Derailing discussions or creating disturbances within the community.

Off-Platform Conduct

  • Organizing or participating in harassment campaigns, even outside of Tilt, that affect our community members.

Enforcement Actions

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

  • Content Removal: Deletion of offending comments or messages.

  • Stream Restrictions: Being blocked from participating in or viewing certain streams.

  • Temporary Ban: Temporarily restricting access to your account.

  • Permanent Ban: Permanent removal from the Tilt platform for severe or repeated violations.

We encourage all members to engage positively and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. If you encounter behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it to our team promptly at support@tilt.app.

Note: These guidelines are subject to updates. Regularly reviewing them ensures you're informed about the standards expected within our community.
