# How Pre-Bids Work

* Select an item that has the Pre-Bid option available

* Confirm your payment details, shipping address, and maximum bid amount.

* Slide to confirm — your bid will automatically compete when the auction goes live.

* To view your bids, go to your profile and tap on **Your Bids**.
