# Raffles, Lotteries, Mystery Boxes, and Gambling Policy

Raffles, lotteries, and all forms of gambling are strictly prohibited. Any activity where individuals pay to participate in games with random outcomes is considered gambling. This includes raffles, lotteries, roulette wheels, and races. To the extent buyer giveaways are permitted, they may only be run using Tilt’s **official** giveaway features, are limited to eligible regions, and sellers are not allowed to use their own off-platform or alternative methods to conduct them.

## **Mystery Boxes**

Sellers featuring mystery boxes in their livestreams must adhere to the following rules:

1. You must be truthful about the market value of an item and not mislead buyers.
2. All mystery boxes must be opened, shown, and remain on the screen during the live stream. **Fashion collectibles from approved retailers that are still in their original packaging** do not need to be opened during the stream.
3. Upon request, you must be able to provide evidence of the market value of the items in the mystery box.

*For Trading Card Game (TCG) sellers, please refer to more detailed policies* [*here*](https://support.tilt.app/tilt-help-desk/for-sellers/policies-and-guidelines/raffles-lotteries-mystery-boxes-and-gambling-policy)*.*

**In case of a breach of these policies, sellers must honour purchase cancellations and refunds and maintain communication with buyers. Failure to comply will result in suspension or a permanent ban. Our policy does not cover all scenarios, and sellers must follow TILT’s terms of service and relevant laws.**
