# Cos'è l'autenticazione a due fattori e come funziona?

L’autenticazione a due fattori (2FA) è una funzionalità di sicurezza opzionale che aiuta a proteggere il tuo account.

È ancora più sicura rispetto all’uso della sola password e garantisce che solo tu possa accedere al tuo profilo.

Quando attivi la 2FA e accedi da un nuovo dispositivo, ti invieremo via SMS un codice di 6 cifre che dovrai inserire per completare l’accesso.
