Coins & Bullion Policy

We’re launching a dedicated space for coins and bullion on Tilt. The guidelines below outline how to list responsibly, set clear expectations for buyers, and keep the category running smoothly.

Seller expectations

  • Be extremely clear about the description of the item when discussing it live. Don't rely on people knowing everything. Truthfully and explicitly describe the items while live.

  • Do not mislead buyers about the value of any item by any means (including implied claims, comparisons, or selective information).

  • Do not provide financial or investment advice. Do not make statements or guarantees about future value, appreciation, or “what this will be worth.” If discussing market context, keep it factual and present-tense, and avoid predictions.

  • All content must be suitable for a 13+ audience. Sexualized imagery, nudity, or adult themes are strictly prohibited in listings, thumbnails, and live streams.

Mystery boxes and chance-based mechanics

Mystery boxes

  • Allowed only in accordance with Tilt’s Mystery Box Policy.

  • You must follow all disclosure, pricing, and fulfilment rules set out by this policy.

Spin the wheel and physical randomizers

  • Spin-the-wheel activities are not allowed on Tilt.

  • Any physical device that randomly selects winners is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, pinball-style machines, raffle drums, lottery cages, or any other physical randomizer.

  • If you need a compliant giveaway format, use our giveaway feature or employ a non-random, clearly stated mechanic (for example, the first correct answer to a trivia question). Alternatively, consult Tilt Support for approved methods.

Counterfeits, replicas, and novelty pieces

Tilt does not allow counterfeit or forged currency or coins. We only permit novelty items when all of the following are true:

  • The listing and any live presentation clearly state the item is a novelty, replica, or not legal tender; and

  • The item is unmistakably identifiable as such. Examples include:

    • Markings indicating “replica,” “novelty,” or “no legal tender.”

    • No legal-tender denomination or mismatched weights that prevent confusion with genuine currency.

    • Distinct visuals (artwork, coloration, size, or other features) so it cannot be mistaken for a circulated coin.

If you’re unsure about classification, disclosures, or whether a piece qualifies as a novelty item, contact Tilt Support before you list.
